Lightweight GRP False Chimneys

The Lightweight GRP range of chimneys from ACS is available in 5 standard sizes, it is ideal for Lightweight, quick turn-round applications.

Core
The core of the lightweight GRP chimney is constructed from class 3 Orthophtalic Polyester (GRP) which cures to form a strong, rigid & lightweight core.

Cope & Pot
Stackfast GRP chimneys can be finished with any cope & pot design and are available in Sandstone, Terracotta or traditional brick. To keep the weight of the stack to a minimum the Cope & pot is constructed from the same GRP material as the core. Any Pot can be replicated but standard rolled-top designs are available for an economic solution.

Finish
To ensure that the Stackfast chimney stack will weather at the same rate as the main facades, all of our chimneys are finished with the customers choice of brick, slipped and bonded to the core. Any corbel detail can be incorporated in the design at no extra cost. The chimney only requires pointing on site to match the on-site mortar.

Fixing
Stackfast Chimneys are extremely easy to fit using a light crane or fork lift, they are fitted with lifting hooks which are removed after fit.
